Coppelia
August 4-6, 2023
Professor Coppelius’ daughter, Coppelia, is a mystery to everyone in their small town. She sits on the balcony all day with her books. Coppelia also never speaks to anyone which intrigues everyone in the neighborhood. The heroine, Swanhilda, joins a group of girls in the town square. Here, they find the key to Coppelius’ home. After much persuasion, Swanhilda agrees to break in to try to discover the truth about the mysterious Coppelia.
As it turns out, Coppelia is a doll created by the mad scientist, Coppelius. Swanhilda decides that to win the love of Franz, she will impersonate the beautiful, life-like doll. Chaos ensues, but concludes with joyful dancing–and tunes of a happy ever after.

Christmas Fairytales

Ballet Philippines presents a stunning holiday performance, CHRISTMAS FAIRYTALES, featuring timeless beloved characters like Ali Baba, Cinderella, Odile, the Black Swan from Swan Lake, and Princess Aurora better known as Sleeping Beauty.
Little Tala embarks on a magical journey to fix fairy tales and restore happiness, guided by the Master of Time.
Act One unfolds with adventures of Ali Baba and the Thieves and Cinderella.
In Act Two, Tala encounters Sleeping Beauty and the Nutcracker, overcoming many challenges and earning the love and gratitude of these characters in a performance that will keep the audience on their toes, awaiting who Tala will encounter next and what mischief she'll make right again.
The performance, set to beautiful, enchanting music, runs from December 15 to 17 at The Theatre at Solaire.
Limang Daan

Ballet Philippines’ “Limang Daan” is a serial production rooted in Filipino culture, identity, and history. For its 2024 edition, award winning filmmaker and writer Moira Lang illuminates the struggles of Filipino women in a narrative travels through the country’s 500-year history. Lang’s cross-generational heroines mirror one another in their journeys through pain, struggle and strife. Set both in the past and present, these stories woven through dance, serve as a vignette to the beauty, wisdom, and fortitude of the Filipino women.
