Janine Myrtel Arisola
Nyn began her passion for dance at the age of 10 in her hometown, Iloilo City. In 2003, she continued her training at the Philippine High School for the Arts under the tutelage of Marie Veronique Duma-Berdin, Nonoy Froilan, Victor Ursabia, Nina Hayuma-Habulan, Bea Puno and Ronilo Jaynario.
Upon graduation in 2007, she received a scholarship at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde taking up Bachelor of Performing Arts - Major in Dance. This coincided with her joining Ballet Philippines as a company scholar under Noordin Jumalon, Rhea Dumdum-Bautista, Jeffrey Espejo, Gina Katigbak-Garcia, Victor Ursabia, Monette Victoria, Novy Bereber, Camille Ordinario, Gerald Mercado and Ava Villanueva. Janine was a finalist at the 2007 NAMCYA Junior Ballet Category.
She has essayed lead roles for CCP Dance School productions including Maria Matahum in A Forest Tale. She became an apprentice in 2010 and promoted to company member in 2011. She has performed solo roles for some of the company's notable productions such as Columbine and Chinese Doll in The Nutcracker, Tinkerbell in Edna Vida's Peter Pan, Amour in Don Quixote, Princess and Victoria in Crisostomo Ibarra, Princess Florine and the Violante Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty.
