Gillianne Therese Gequinto
Gia began her dance training under Pamela Ortiz-Bondoc and Brezhnev Larlar. At the Philippine High School for the Arts, she graduated with an Outstanding Student Artist for Ballet Award and the illustrious MARIA Scholarship Award. She has completed the Intermediate Level for Cecchetti Classical Ballet Major exams with Honors and the Royal Academy of Dance Level 3 Certificate in Vocational Graded exams (for Intermediate Ballet) with Distinction.
For the company, Gia has danced solo roles such as Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, Amour in Don Quixote, and the flower Love-in-Idleness in A Midsummer Night's Dream. In 2013 she won the for Gawad Buhay Award of Female Featured Performance in a Modern Dance Production for her role in a Midsummer Night's Dream. A regular choreographer for the CCP Dance School, she premiered her first choreographic work for the company in 2014 for The Art of Dance
She is a presently a University of the Philippines scholar, majoring in Dance.
