Gia began her dance training with Pamela Ortiz-Bondic and Brezhnev Larlar. Training under Nonoy Froilan, Victor Ursabia, Princess Duma-Berdin and Ronilo Jaynario, she graduated at the Philippine High School for the Arts with an Outstanding Student Artist for Ballet Award and the MARIA Scholarship Award. She has completed the Intermediate Level for Cecchetti Classical Ballet Major Exams with Honors, and the Royal Academy of Dance Level 3 Certificate in Vocational Graded Exams with Distinction. For the company, Gia has danced solo roles such as Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, Amour in Don Quixote, and Love-In-Idleness in A Midsummer Dance Dream. In 2013, she won the Gawad Buhay Award of Female Featured Performance in a Modern Dance Production for her role in A Midsummer Night's Dream. A regular choreographer for the BP Dance School, she premiered her first choreographic work for the company in 2014 for BP's The Art Of Dance. She graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Music Major in Dance at the University of the Philippines last June 2016. Last December 2016, she was Associate Director, co-choreographed and danced for BP's production Awitin Mo at Isasayaw ko.
