Joanne Therese Sartorio

Joanne started dancing at the age of 3 under the tutelage of her mother, Annie Divinagracia-Sartorio. A versatile dancer, she also trained in flamenco, tap, belly dance, and hip-hop. She was a finalist in 2009 National Music Competition for Young Artists Ballet Competition. In 2012, she joined Ballet Philippines as a full scholar during the Summer Dance Workshop, and was promoted to company scholar during the season. In 2015, she was promoted to apprentice, and essayed the role of Tinkerbell in Edna Vida’s Peter Pan, leading to her promotion to the company right after. She garnered soloist roles in Swan Lake, alternately dancing the Pas de Trois, Tarantella, and Cygnets. She is a Dance Major at the De La Salle College of St. Benilde.
