Luigie Barrera

Luigie started his ballet training at the age of 13 at the Teatro Baile de Cavite and Dance Theater Arts. He has taken examinations with the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet (ACB) for Levels 3, 4, and 5, garnering grades of Distinction for all three. Under the ACB, he has also taken the Senior Level 1 Assessment, successfully passing With Honor. In 2011, he was a finalist at the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA), and in 2013, he joined the Association of Ballet Academies Philippines (ABAP) Dance Cup, and emerged as the Champion. His notable performances include the male variation from Flower Festival, Giselle Peasant Pas de Deux, Paquita Pas de Trois, Swan Lake Pas de Trois, and the Nutcracker Prince Variation. He joins Ballet Philippines in its 48th Season as Company Apprentice.
