Nino Albay

Niño has been dancing at Perry Sevidal Ballet School since 2006, being mentored by Perry Sevidal, Edna Vida, Nonoy Froilan, Osias Barroso, Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, Cecile Sicangco, Anna Villadolid, Nicholas Pacaña, Christine Rocas, Marcelino Libao, Jared Tan, Monette Victoria, Brando Miranda, Cristine Crame, Agnes Locsin, and Ernest Mandap among others. In 2014, he was part the Peasant Waltz dances of Ballet Philippines’ production of Giselle. With the Ballet Philippines Dance School, he also performed the male variation from Flower Festival in 2015. Being part of the Saint Benilde Romancon Dance Company, he also performed a contemporary piece titled Adarna in 2016. Through the years, Niño has also taken modern ballet technique under Judell De Guzman-Sicam and Gerardo Francisco. Other dance forms such as jazz classes under Peter Alcedo Jr. have also made him a more versatile dancer. He joins Ballet Philippines this season as a Company Apprentice.
