Lester John Reguindin
At age 14, Lester began his ballet training with Teatro Baile de Cavite under Brezhnev Larlar. He also took classes with Stanley Canete, Dwight Rodrigazo, Carlos Garcia, Jeffrey Espejo, Victor Ursubia and Anatoly Panasiukov. His repertoire includes Franz in Coppelia, Siegfried in Swan Lake, the Cavalier in The Nutcracker, Paquita Pas de Trois, Harlequinade, Gisele Pas de Deux, Sleeping Beauty Pas de Deux, Bluebird Pas de Deux, Don Quixote, La Bayadere and Mosque Baroque. He has also danced contemporary pieces such as Pananakop, XIII Martyrs, Human elements, One sidedness, and notable productions like Neo Caviteño, World Dance Exhibit, Soledad Reina De Cavite, and Philippine Ballet Theatre's Palikhayaw. In 2005 he was awarded one of the Most Outstanding Young Performing Artists of Cavite, and in 2009 was offered a full scholarship for a Diploma in Dance at the Christine Walsh Dance Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Lester joined Ballet Philippines in 2010 and became a company member a year later.
