Pre-professional Training

At around 12 to 18 years old, students now tackle greater challenges to help them meet their goals. This program includes rigorous training in classical ballet and contemporary dance, as well as classes in improvisation, introduction to choreography, pedagogy and theater, among others. Whether they wish to pursue a career as a dancer, teacher, choreographer or take further studies, BPDS will mentor them to be the best dancer they can be. During this time, our students have the unique opportunity to observe, work alongside, and be mentored by Ballet Philippines’ artists and its guests from the global stage. This gives them the opportunity to rise to the ranks of Ballet Philippines.

In addition to our regular training curriculum and recitals, our program offers our students access to masterclasses by global artists, as well as professional performances and showcases.

Beginning June 2023, full and half scholarships are available by invitation or audition.
