Kristina Kochetova

Kristina is a Leading Stage Master with an educational background at Perm State Choreographic College (2008). After completing her studies in 2008, she was adopted as an artist of ballet in Nizhny Novgorod Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

She has been with the Saratovsky Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2013. Her beautiful choreographic abilities and acting talent have allowed Kochetova to be a ballerina who portrays the subtle character of the heroine she is portraying onstage. The images created by her dancing are bright, interesting, and full of dynamics.

She has participated in competitions such as: “Arabesk" (Perm, 2010), an open competition of ballet artists of Russia, where she won the Diploma of the Participant XI, as well as Laureate of the Regional Theatre Festival "Golden Arlequin" (2020).

Similar to Alexei Mikheev, Kristina is able to perform both classical and modern ballet in her repertoire.

Her Saratov ballet performance in the 2016 production of the ballet by S. Prokofiev’s "Le pas d'acier" (The Steel Step) made history when an invitation was extended to her to participate in the National Theatre Award Festival “Golden Mask.”

In 2018, K. Kochetova performed the main role in the world premiere of ballet V. Kubekina "Hanging Water", which was presented on the New stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in the IV Festival of Music Theaters of Russia. The statement received an enthusiastic response from the public and was highly appreciated by the ballet critics who attended the performance.

In 2015, Kochetova was awarded the scholarship of Governor Saratov Region, touring various cities in Russia and abroad such as in Italy, Spain, and China. In 2020, together with Alexei Mikheev, she participated in the TV show entitled "Big Ballet" which was shown on the channel "Russia Culture.”
