Manuel Lisbona
President, Philippine National Bank Securities
Manuel Antonio “Manny” G. Lisbona has been working in finance for the past 26 years, starting his career as a trader and analyst before moving to investment banking for one of the top universal banks in the wake of the Asian Financial Crisis.
He was then assigned to lead that bank’s acquired asset group, where his main task was to manage, generate rental income and liquidate the bank’s foreclosed assets. From there he has made various contributions to the bank, eventually becoming a member and subsequently chairman of the executive committee of a special purpose vehicle company
.
Afterwards, Manny rejoined the stock brokerage industry where he currently serves as President of PNB Securities, Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Philippine National Bank).
As an entrepreneur, Manny founded a Makati-based water refilling station servicing mostly corporate clients in the vicinity. He and his partners also recently founded a food business retailing Cebu-style lechon bellies.
If anyone can provide good and practical advice on how to handle finances during this pandemic, it would most definitely be Manny.
