La Cabrera – The Argentinian steak house is world renowned for their perfectly charred steaks cooked on a charcoal grill. La Caberera has made a name for itself as a restaurant that pushes the boundaries of steak. They pair their meats with their unique chimichurri sauce that gives diners a taste of Argentina in every bite. PRO TIP: Order a bottle of Lagarde wine, which pair perfectly with their signature parillas.

La Grima – La Grima is the most casual restaurant on our list. It’s the kind of place you go to when you want to roll up your sleeves, kick off your stilettos, enjoy good food, and have a cold cocktail. The eatery serves authentic Mexican cuisine that is arguably the best in the city. Our recommendation: order a variety of their street tacos, which features proteins ranging from the classic pork carnitas to the more unique chicharones.

Samba – You can’t go wrong with South American cuisine, and Peruvian Chef Carlo Huerta of Samba will make sure of it! The restaurant, which is located at Shangri-La at the Fort, features an explosively good menu, which includes best sellers such as Arroz con Mariscos (the fresh seafood set atop a bed of fluffy, flavorful rice). PRO TIP: Request for al fresco dining and enjoy your meal with views of their glittering swimming pool under the stars.

Spritz Makati – This newly-opened night spot in Makati puts the refreshing Spritz cocktail front and center, showcasing a variety of premium blends to suit every palette. In addition, they have a knockout menu that includes their Caviar Pot (layer of caviar and salmon gravlax, served with lavosh) and Lobster Gratin (American Lobster served with duck fat potato).

Xiu Fine Cantonese Dining – Located at the heart of Greenhills, Xiu Fine Cantonese Dining is one of Manila’s most underrated treasures for high-end Cantonese cuisine. We highly recommend their dimsum (the siomai is one of the best in town!), beef tenderloin in black pepper sauce, and Peking duck.
