Share The Magic
Ballet Philippines shares the magic of dance to over 10,000 beneficiaries each year by bringing
public school students and individuals from underserved communities to season productions.
Barangay Ballet
Barangay Ballet provides dance training to children from underserved communities and is
currently partnered with Purple Centers Foundation in Tondo, Fo Guang Shan Mabuhay Temple
in Malate and the Pasig City local government.
The average dancer goes through 10 to 20 pairs of shoes in a year. Each pair costs Php 5,000 which is a
huge sum for our dancers to buy on their own.
Donations to this fund goes to buying supplies of pointe
and dance shoes to keep our dancers on their toes.
Ballet Philippines pioneered the professionalization of dance in the country, providing regular salaries and benefits so that dancers can focus in honing their craft. When you sponsor dancers, you allow us to focus on raising funds for our exceptional productions. Your contribution is listed and acknowledged alongside the dancer’s profile.
Ballet Philippines honors gallant men and women in uniform by treating them to an evening of art, dance and culture. As defenders of our country, BP pay homage to the dedication and courage of our men and women in the military, navy and air force by bringing them and loved ones to the theater. Ballet Philippines is the only dance company today to pay tribute to our men and women in service through the arts.
Community engagement is a vital part of Ballet Philippines. We partner with civic organizations, commercial companies, local government units and generous individuals to bring excellent performances to different communities. BP, BP 2 and BP Kidz perform on various stages, at schools, plazas, community centers, churches, hospitals, malls and anywhere there is a room to dance. Ballet Philippines believes that dance has to be experienced by one and all, including those in the remotest barrios.

Dancers of the company train everyday to enhance technical skill, which subsequently results in some of Ballet Philippines’ excellent performances. The company boasts the most versatile and technically skilled dancers thanks to the ballet masters, coaches and dance professionals that On Pointe has funded to teach our performers. Our technical training program also extends to educators with the ultimate aim of addressing the need for qualifies art teachers in public schools.
